Historical figures are the symbols of nations, such that they are included in the elements of nation building and their spiritual ages are much longer than their physical ones; Such that the centuries are walking in the memory of many generations. Some people not only play an important role in changing the course of history of their time, but also play a role in shaping and changing historical events in times far away from themselves. Maulvi Jalaluddin Haqqani is one of those figures who not only played an exceptional role in the victory of the two jihads, but will also remain a beacon for the Afghan nation and every freedom-seeking thought in the world. Therefore, some sincere people, Mujahideen and cultural personalities laid a foundation stone in his name in order to nurture the thoughts of such a great person and to carry out a regular activity in the field of realizing his dreams. And that foundation became “Jalal Foundation” which was issued an operating license from the Ministry of Justice on 2-1-1402. The head office of the foundation is in Kabul Wazir Akbar Khan, which will have offices at the zone level in the coming years.
The major goals of “Jalal Organization” are the cultural development of Afghanistan, the development of education, the production of thought, and helping the deserving people. For the realization of these goals, the important and permanent activities are listed below:
- In accordance with the preservation of historical documents, archiving them and writing new works based on these documents, creating (still and moving) photographic documents, producing and publishing audio and printed works;
- Organizing Islamic (religious), scientific and cultural seminars, meetings and discussions;
- Building libraries to promote the culture of study in the country;
- Liaison with other similar domestic and foreign cultural, research and educational centers in compliance with applicable laws and in accordance with the Foundation's policy;
- Research in the field of science, culture and international relations and share it with relevant clients if necessary;
- Facilitating language learning opportunities for young people who have been awarded scholarships abroad;
- Diagnosing talented young people and providing them with internal or external education;
- Giving awards to distinguished works in scientific and cultural fields;
- Celebrating important scientific, cultural and other great personalities
- To help the deserving and poor people in the country.
In order to carry out the above activities, the General Assembly, the Council of Founders, the Board of Directors and the Executive Department are the basic formations of the foundation, the first three of which have the role of making the policy of the foundation and the fourth formation (Executive Department) of the foundation. Responsible for all executive matters. The executive department is divided into several departments, which are archives and culture, educational, media, strategic studies and charitable departments. The Archive and Culture Department is working on the preservation of the documents of the two jihads, the writing, printing and publication of documents and works, the activities in the field of culture and the recording of new events. goes The education department is focusing on finding scholarships for the young generation to provide them with free and quality education at home and abroad to contribute to the development of the country. The media department, in collaboration with the archive and culture department, is producing some content video documentaries that, on the one hand, preserve our history in an animated image, and on the other hand, enable us to understand the past 20 years of discomfort and the crimes committed by the aggressors of other nations and generations. transfer to Similarly, the media department also sets the policy for those media that are related to the institution. The Department of Strategic Studies evaluates the politics and position of other countries regarding Afghanistan, and also monitors the important media, what they publish about us and what kind of narrative they create. He shares this observation and analysis with his leaders. Also, this department discusses a certain topic once a month in the foundation’s hall or another designated place to be evaluated scientifically and politically in the presence of the panel and other participants. A guest is usually invited to such discussions who is academically and empirically proficient in the subject. The charitable department of the foundation collects donations to reach the needy and helpless Afghans, who spend them through their respective institutions. In addition to the above activities, the foundation also works in capacity building.
